Irfan Kiani is a Pakistani musician, producer, and brother of the Pakistani female singer Hadiqa Kiani. After completing his education from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore, he went on to produce all of his sister's albums and in 2011, he produced the sound track for Shoaib Mansoor's film Bol. Kiani was also a member of the early 1990s Lahore band Jupiters. The band toured to Germany, Canada, and the United States and introduced Pakistan to artists such as Ali Azmat, Najam Sheraz, and Jawad Ahmed. In April 2015, Kiani performed at the Music Mela festival held by the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan. It was there, when he was performing with Hadiqa Kiani's band that he was requested to perform percussion for the indie-folk American band, Grace McLean and Them Apples, at the festival to rave reviews. In August 2015, Kiani played the harmonium for Hadiqa Kiani's cover of the Noor Jehan song, "Aye Puthar Hattan."
