Intoscape

Intoscape is an integrated e-commerce platform developed and sold by UK-based software developer, Total Commerce Management (TCM). It offers automated supply chain, competitive analysis, content management and procurement from a single application platform. It has been designed to focus on five areas of operation for online catalogue-based businesses:

Supply Chain Management
- Synchronises data from multiple distribution supply sources and consolidates that data into a single database scheme.

Competitor Monitoring
- Actively searches the public domain of the Internet to gather pricing information from competitors. Allows users to compare their own pricing with that of their competitors.

Automated Pricing and Content Publishing
- Automated analysis of price elasticity, using business algorithms to create catalogues of available inventory and also to set margins.

Procurement Optimisation
- Analyses available sources of product to meet an order request, calculates margin and shipping costs.

Exchanging and Integrating Data
- Provides real time results to the user in industry standard open source formats that can exchange data with the businesses existing ERP, MRP or financial back office applications

Intoscape Competitor Intelligence Console (CIC)
- A standalone software tool allowing online retailers to automatically analyse competitor product pricing. It was launched in June 2008 .

Customers

- , an SCC company and online Information Technology product and services retailer, was the first active Intoscape user. IT247 uses Intoscape to manage supply sources, monitor competitor pricing, manage back-office logistics and set their own pricing across over 300,000 available product lines.

Awards

- In 2007, Intoscape and its customer, were awarded the Best B2B eCommerce Project in the annual Big Chip awards. The company also won the award for Best Organisation in Warrington and Cheshire and commended for its innovation in the Big Chip Innovation Award category .
