International Musical Day

International Musical Day (IMD) is a parodic holiday. It is a day when everyone in the world should turn their day into a live musical. For example, an observer of this holiday would greet friends not with "Hello," but with "Good morning my dear friends!" in a singing or musical tone. This holiday was first created in 2010 and is not related to the International Music Day. Quotes from the IMD website: Ever wanted to re-enact your favourite scene in Grease? Dance and sing like the babes in Chicago? Announce your love like the Phantom of the Opera? Get your glamour on like the gals & guys in Moulin Rouge? Dance it up on the court just like in High School Musical? Day dreamt of turning reality into a hit musical like Glee? If this sounds good, read on.. You’re in luck - March 10th is International Musical Day! Take it to the streets. Sing & dance to your hearts content and let the world be your audience! Capture your performances on film or photo and send them to us; clips will be posted on our youtube page, and the best of the best will be featured right here on the main website!
