Inflatophilia is a sexual fetish involving one's body inflating like a balloon. It is distinct from breast expansion fetishism in that it involves other parts of the body inflating, such as the stomach, the rear, or even the entire body inflating like a balloon, sometimes to the point of becoming spherical. To the most part, this is only fictional, though the stomach can be inflated.
This paraphilia was popularized through cartoons and movies, such as Violet Beauregarde in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, though these were not originally intended to have sexual connotations.
The inflation fetish is usually tied to balloon and/or pregnant fetishes.
Types of Inflation
*Breast Inflation Perhaps the most common section of the fetish, involves the breasts to inflate rapidly to exaggerated proportions.
*Belly Inflation This causes a character's torso to expand as if pregnant, but without the accompanying fetus.
*Body Inflation This is where the character's entire body inflates like a balloon.
*Rear Inflation This is where only the character's rear end inflates.
*Clothing Inflation This is where a character wears clothing that can inflate, such as dual-walled latex suits.
Reasoning
Most inflatophiles credit their fetish to inflation in media, such as cartoons and movies including Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. There is also an element of power play or bondage within this paraphilia, since the "inflatee" is usually not in control of the inflation (through magical means or otherwise,) or because of the immobility induced by the inflation.
