Independent Pro Wrestling Association

Independent Pro Wrestling Association is based out of Dayton, Ohio and owned and operated by J.L. Thrush and Tim Shaw.
After shutting it's doors down in 1998, the IPWA lay dorment until 2006, when J.L. Thrush and Tim Shaw saw the chance to reopen the organization and reinstate the titles. On Saturday April 21st, 2007, the IPWA held their resurrection match in Buford, Ohio and that is when it's new Ohio State champion was crowned in the Rave Eric Fallen. Because of the injuries substained in this contest, the Rave had to give up the title and on April 28th, 2007 at the first ever April Reigns, Damage Control David Chaos won the title in a 4 way eliminiation Match. Since then the Ohio State title has changed hands between only two other people, the Rave Eric Fallen and the Dark Angel, who is currently the IPWA Ohio State Champion.
The roster is drawn from the tri-state area of Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Its wrestlers mostly perform in a wide range of styles, including Strong Style, Lucha Libre, Technical, Power, High Risk, and Submission.
Currently the promotion runs monthly cards in the Merchant's Flea Market in Dayton;
