Formation and and tag title win
The Minnesota Stretching Crew was formed in early 2001, with the contestants of Brock Lesnar and Shelton Benjamin, and the two formed a tag stable, due to their amateur wrestling background, to pay homage to former tag stable The Minnesota Wrecking Crew. The two became tag partners and went to win the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship on February 14, 2001, after defeating The Disciples of Synn at an OVW Taping.
Second and third wins
On April 22, 2001 The Disciples of Synn defeated Lesnar and Benjamin, for the titles in WWF Sunday Night Heat Dark Match. Afterwards another match was announced and the two went on to defeat the current champions at a Taping on May 16, 2001, to go after their second title win. The titles were then vacated on July 14, 2001 after Benjamin suffered an injury. The Bolin Services defeated The Disciples of Synn on August 15, 2001 in a tournament finals. Lensar and Benjmin were awarded a rematch, and faced The Disciples of Synn at WWF Jakked Dark Match, for their final tag title win, after losing them to The Suicide Blondes on November 7, 2001, and a few days after Lesnar is called by the WWE.
