Igbo Abasiama

Dr. Igbo Abasiama is the Chief Professor of Crytozoology of the University of Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Early life
Igbo Abasiama was born in 1973 in Kinshasa, to Sifa and Joseph Abasiama. Abasiama took an early interest in science, particularly biology. He excelled in school and went to the University of Kinshasa to pursue a PhD in zoology. After graduating in 1999 he was hired as a biology professor.
Work
In the summer of 2001, Abasiama was archiving books on biology at the university's library. He stumbled across a book titled In Search of Cryptids. Intrigued by the accounts presented in the book, Abasiama began research on cryptids. By the end of 2001, Abasiama had read every book on cryptids he could get and spent days searching the internet for information. He went to the university's board of directors and persuaded them to establish a new Cryptoozology department. Limited funds were given and Abasiama took residence in a small maintenance shed where he held his class and performed his research. As the Chief Professor of Crytozoology at the University of Kinsasha, Abasiama has been able to go on many international expeditions funded by the university for creatures including Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, and other elusive cryptids. His students and colleagues often accompany him on these expeditions.
Arguably Abasiama's most influential paper is The Evidence for the Existence of the Bigfoot in which he examines historical, theoretical, and circumstantial evidence of the Bigfoot, ultimately reaching the conclusion that more evidence, such as a body or living specimen, is necessary for Bigfoot to gain acceptance within the scientific community.
