Ian Christianson (Born June 3, 1991) is an American professional soccer player currently playing for the New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer. Career Youth and College As a youth player, Christiansen was brought up through the Chicago Fire youth system. Christiansen later moved on to enjoy a prolific college soccer career, making 78 appearances and talling 14 goals and 10 assists in his 4 years at Georgetown. He was named Big East Midfielder of the year in 2010 and captained the team in his final year in 2012. Professional Christianson has never appeared for the New York Red Bulls in league play. However, he has appeared in the Reserve League and also as a sub in a 2-2 draw with Olympique Lyonnais.
