Houlton School

Houlton School is a state funded secondary school located in the Houlton area of Rugby, Warwickshire. Planning permission was given by Rugby Borough Council in October 2019 for the new school, which is expected to open to Year 7 pupils in September 2021. It will be the first secondary school in the area, which itself only had its first residents in 2017 and is expected eventually provide education to 1,000 pupils aged 11-18. The principal will be Michael McCulley and the vice-principal Chloe Buckenham. Several listed buildings left over from the Rugby Radio Station have been incorporated into the school including the power building, transmission building and water tower.
