Honest Police a 2021 Australian comedy short film written and produced by Robin Nicolle. It premiered in December 2021 at the International Media Arts and Film Awards.<ref name"Gazette Jan 26 2021" /><ref name"7news sc" /> Writer Robin Nicolle said of the films plot, "I like to think of it as just the extreme version of taking the law into your own hands, and I’m so excited at the idea that the cop is a psychopath that kidnaps people from small offenses."<ref name"PattmanSport 8 Jan 2022" /><ref name"Glasshouse May 24, 2022" /> Matters Magazine referred to the film as a wackey comedy for all ages.<ref name="Matters Magazine April 2022" /> Filming locations The movie was filmed at locations around the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay regions. Theses included the suburbs of Sippy Downs, Maroochydore, Kawana and Caboolture. Some scenes were shot at Champion Liquor in King Street Caboolture.<ref name"Moreton Daily 2 Mar 2022" /><ref name"Courier Mail 26 Feb 2022" /> Awards Honest Police has won a number of awards. At the 2021 International Media Arts and Film Awards it picked up Best Short Film, Best Actor, and Best Editor.<ref name"7news sc" /><ref name"TVY Jan 11 2022"/><ref name="Glasshouse May 24, 2022" />
