Hi-Tech Racing Boats

Hi-Tech, was a manufacturer of Rowing and Sculling boats but the most popular of which was the singles of which only 30 were made. It was formed in early 1980 when a previous GB rower got involved in a car accident which disabled him, helping him come to the decision to design his own boats. The boats were all made in Huntingdon, United Kingdom where the business was based.
Hi-Tech boats were all made from Empacher Hull moulds and used Len Neville riggers which made the boats very high quality with most of the boats still being used today. Two of these boats are currently owned by Huntingdon Boat Club, these include a Single and a Front Loading Coxed Four, both of which are still used today after many years of use.
