Henry Toland Henry Toland (13 August 1832 - 5 May 1917) was an leatherware designer, artificer and the founder of Henry Toland brand of leatherware. Biography Henry Toland was born in an artificer family of London suburbs in 1832.Henry's father and his ancestors made boots and hunting tools for the villagers. Since 1845 during Queen Victorian Era, Henry Toland moved to London as his father Toland was recommended to work for the Dukes of Hanover.Henry Toland inherited his father's work after Toland died. He found that a mark was fine decoration by printing on his leather works, that made him more and more wellknown unexpectedly. Henry Toland started up his road to legend and found the leather brand on conducting with consciousness deep in his mind since then. Henry Toland died in the morning 5 May 1917 at the age of 85. |
