Heidi Butzine

Heidi Butzine is a bestselling, American author born in Long Beach, California in 1974. She has written 8 books focused on travel, wine, and local purchasing. Her most recent book, Shop Local: A Practical Pain-Free Guide to Shopping with Purpose, a how-to guide on local purchasing and community-based economics became a bestseller in 2012. She is a small business advocate who founded Certified Locally Owned, a joint-marketing program, in 2013.
Prior to becoming a small business advocate she co-founded and then sold a consulting business to a Fortune 500 company.
