Harmonyum

Harmonyum is a transcendental healing system born out of Universal Kabbalah, also known as Bio-Metaphysical Medicine . Joseph Michael Levry (Gurunam), who is believed by many to be an authentic spiritual Master, teaches Harmonyum to students through a non-profit organization called Universal Force Healing Center . Although clinical studies verifying the efficacy of Harmonyum have yet to reach definitive conclusions, Harmonyum claims to balance the fluctuations between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system, thereby normalizing circulation, breathing, digestion, sexual energy and sleep. Similar to other forms of alternative medicine, the philosophy of Harmonyum states that within the head and along the spine lie spiritual centers responsible for health and well-being. It is believed that these centers can, via Harmonyum treatments, be gradually awakened from latency, in turn pouring forth a stream of highly concentrated life-force and power into the body and mind, healing disturbances of both a psychological and physical nature .
Practice
There are three levels of Harmonyum, each one aimed at healing different aspects of the mental, physical, and spiritual bodies . Treatments are performed without the use of pain, drugs, or needles . Depending on the level of Harmonyum being applied, the recipient can lie on their stomach or on their back. In exceptional cases where this is not possible, the recipient can remain sitting in a chair. Comfortable, lose clothing is worn throughout the treatment. The practitioner performs various sacred movements along the spine, with very little touch to the physical body.
The Harmonyum and Universal Kabbalah Connection
The mysterious and divine healing power claimed to be released during a Harmonyum treatment is closely linked with the symbol of a five-pointed star, or pentagram. Kabbalah has long revered this symbol as an active embodiment of condensed sunlight fluid, and when man stands with arms outstretched (visualize the Vitruvian man), he symbolically represents the pentagram. Kabbalah holds the pentagram to be an esoteric symbol of the perfected human . During Harmonyum treatments, it is believed that the bodily rhythms are aligned to reflect the perfect balance of the pentagram.
