Gunner Colby Glad (born August 14, 1986 in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is a professional baseball player in the Minnesota Twins organization. He is currently playing with the Elizabethton Twins, rookie affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. Before his professional career, Glad was a red shirt junior with the San Diego State Aztecs baseball team, and played for the Kentucky Wildcats baseball team while attending San Diego State University and the University of Kentucky, respectively. He also played baseball at Eastern Oklahoma State College, a junior college in Wilburton, Oklahoma. Glad bats and throws right-handed and has played right field, left field, third base, second base and first base over his career. Amateur career High School Glad attended Tulsa Union High School where he played baseball under coach Bill Springman. During his time at Tulsa Union, Glad won multiple accolades including the White Sox Area code team and being a four-year letterman. Glad then transfered to University of Kentucky where he played on the Kentucky Wildcats baseball team. In his first at-bat with Kentucky, Glad hit a pinch-hit home run. The Twins assigned Glad to the rookie-level Elizabethton Twins of the Appalachian League.
