Guilty of being delicious

Guilty of Being Delicious is a tattoo meme that first began circulating in 2006. The tattoo artwork is a play on the bottled violence artwork for the seminal DC hardcore band Minor Threat, and the "Guilty of Being Delicious" text is a play on the Minor Threat song title "Guilty of Being White".
The tattoo concept and phrase were created by Liam Gray, who is also the owner of the tattoo. The artwork was then created by Michael Brousseau who executed the tattoo over a span of a few months in 2006. The tattoo was done at Federal Hill Tattoo in Providence, RI. After the tattoo was completed, Liam Gray posted it to his myspace page, where it was quickly downloaded and began to appear on various humor blogs.
Reaction
Although the tattoo is a punk/hardcore reference, it resonates well with people outside of the underground music community as well. Without the punk context, it is generally viewed as just a silly food tattoo. The tattoo has been featured in several galleries of humorous food tattoos, including being the number one entry in the Top Ten food tattoos at chow.com. A common misconception expressed on blogs and forums is that the leather jacket character is supposed to be Fonzie from the Happy Days TV show.
Influence on other Media
Since the Guilty of Being Delicious image has gone viral, there have been several derivative images that have begun circulating as well. This includes another version of the tattoo which removes the Minor Threat element, halloween costumes, flyers, and advertising signage for a Burrito stand.
