Gonzalo Rodino

Gonzalo Rodino (born October 15, 1994), nicknamed Gonzo, is an Australian guitarist. He is best known for his fingerstyle guitar playing in the tradition of Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed and Tommy Emmanuel.
Biography
Gonzalo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He started playing guitar at the age of twelve. In 2010 he began attending school at The Queensland Academy for Creative Industries. He began to get gigs at many venues, namely the Jazz Café on the Southside of Brisbane. "Gonzalo has played with the great Tommy Emanuel, Joe Robinson and the gypsy jazz guitarist Ewan Mackenzie. Gonzalo’s sound is a combination of acoustic finger style guitar with swift gypsy licks. His polished performance style commands respect from the crowd, and his unique style has become renowned around the Brisbane area. His influences include Joe Robinson, Tommy Emanuel, Chet Atkins."
