Golden Apple is a private education and education publishing company based in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. It is the largest private education company in Western China and currently has 14 kindergartens, 2 infant training centers, 1 English training school, 3 primary schools, 1 middle school and an education publishing company. It is a group type company made up of the kindergarten chain, a preschool education research centre, and a preschool health research center. In 2007, it had over 4500 students in total and over 1000 employees of various types. Each of the Golden Apple schools have at least one foreign teacher and a varying number of Chinese English teachers. Most of the foreign teachers com from overseas, mainly from Australia, USA, the UK and Canada. Golden Apple's Foreign Manager is Nigel Jones. |
