Hotcourses Foundation In 2004, Hotcourses launched the Hotcourses Foundation, a charity that provides education to children in the developing world. In March 2009, a new Hotcourses Foundation website was developed, and £250,000 of funding secured to build a secondary school in Kitui. In February 2010, the Lawson Secondary School opened in Kitui, Kenya. The Hotcourses Foundation supports the education of over 500 orphaned children at the Hotcourses Primary School. Most of the childrens' parents died of HIV-related illnesses. Since its opening in 2005 the school has been become highly rated in Kenya, particularly for its music and dance. Hotcourses donates 5% of its profits to the Foundation as well as raising money from other sources.
