Brian A. Bottge

Brian Bottge’s primary research focuses on using multimedia-based and applied problems for improving the math problem-solving skills of students with learning disabilities and students with emotional and behavioral disabilities.
Prior to joining UW-Madison in 1997, Dr. Bottge taught in K-12 schools for 14 years and was a district-wide assessment coordinator for nearly 10 years. In the early 1970s, he taught English to middle school students as a Peace Corps volunteer in Iran.
