Gliese 613 is a K1-3 V class star located in the night sky at Right ascension 16h 09m 43s and declination −56° 26′ 46″ in the constellation of Norma. At a distance of 46.8 light Years (14.4 parsecs) and an absolute magnitude of +6.32, this star has an apparent magnitude of +7.11 when viewed from earth and moves with a total Proper Motion of 0.373 yr and a radial Velocity of 37.9 km/s. The star itself is 0.72 times the , 0.8 times the suns diameter. It radiates a temperature of 4700K and a luminosity of 26% that of the sun, with a visual Comfort Zone of 0.51 A.U.s, but has no known planets. Its nearest stellar neighbours are Hip 79537, Hip83990 and β Trianguli Australis.
