Gherasim Rusu-Togan

Gherasim Rusu-Togan, born on the 4th of May 1938, in Ghijasa de Sus, district of Sibiu, is the oldest son from a family of seven children. He is a Romanian writer, folklorist and professor.

The short story "Dincolo de padurea de cedrii" ('Beyond the forest of cedars') was published in 1977 in the anthology "Suprema Iubire" (Supreme Love), collection "Tezaur Prahovean"(Prahova Treasury)

- 1982: "Gelu si Semenii" (Gelu and his fellows), in collaboration with Constantin Trandafir, was awarded 1st prize at Historical Scripts Contest, Film House 1
- 1986: "Cautarea izvoarelor" (In search of natural springs), in collaboration with Ilie Terbea, for TVR movies, was initially forbidden by censorship
