Gevork Nazaryan is an Armenian-American scholar (b. November 22, 1976) who in 2002 received his B.A. in History, from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He received his M.A. in Near Eastern Studies in 2005 (UCLA) and is currently working on his PhD. at the History Institute of the Armenian National Academy of Sciences. He specializes in ancient and medieval history of the Near East. He has organized and has presented at many lectures and conferences on Near Eastern and World History. Nazaryan's articles on ancient and medieval Near Eastern history have been published in numerous historical and scientific journal including the oldest published periodical of Armenian Studies Bazmavep (see the 2008-2009 issues) published without interruption since 1843 by its renowned Publishing House Casa Editrice Armena. Bazmavep today is the oldest and one of the most prestigious periodical scholarly review in Italy and the fourth in order all over the world. In 2008, Nazaryan translated Metaphysics: Poetry by the renowned member of the International Academy of Sciences, Arthur Armin.
