Gary Weight

Gary Weight (born 1966 in London) is a musician and author. Being a member of Leeds rock band Red Lorry Yellow Lorry from the late 1980s, he later became a road manager for various other bands of the era including Echo and the Bunnymen, The Stranglers and The Sisters Of Mercy. Gary Weight was credited with 3 song titles on the Blasting Off album 1991. He now works in Normandy, France, operating a company called Pegasus Normandy Tours which specializes in historical battlefield tours of Normandy D-Day 1944. His current book "The History of the 2d Battalion The Lincolnshire Regiment 1943-1945" is due for release on June 6, 2010. |
