Garmina Paygar (born 1 May 1994) is an American soccer player of Liberian heritage who plays as a forward for Atlanta SC in the National Independent Soccer Association. He plays primarily as a centre forward, but can also play as a midfielder or defender. Club career Paygar was born in Monrovia, Liberia and moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota at the age of four. He played soccer briefly for University of Northwestern St. Paul and then transferred to Upper Iowa University in 2014, where he played soccer at the NCAA Division-2 level. He went on after college to play for Dakota Fusion FC, a nationally ranked NPSL team in the 2017 NPSL. In 2018 Garmina was picked up by the USL Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC U23 team. In March 2019, Paygar was invited on trial in Europe with the 2nd Division Lithuanian club and current champions of Lithuania's I Lyga, FC Džiugas Telšiai.
