Warlock (board game)

Warlock is a 1979 board game published by Future and Fantasy Games.
Gameplay
Warlock is a fantasy combat game for 2-4 players in which wizards use mana to conjure creatures and cast spells, each trying to slay the other wizards. Artwork on the cover and rulebook was by William Douglas Freeman.
Each warlock tries to slay the other warlocks with a variety of spells, including those that conjure creatures to either defend the wizard casting the spell, attack other conjured creatures, or attack the opposing wizard. Jackson commented that "Taken on its own merits, Warlock would be a good introductory game for younger folk. More experienced gamers will exhaust its possibilities very quickly indeed."<ref name="SG"/>
