Garmina Paygar-Flangiah

Garmina Paygar (born 1st May 1994) is a Liberian born, American professional soccer player who plays for Atlanta SC in the National Independent Soccer Association. He plays primarily as a centre forward, but can also play as a midfielder or defender.
Paygar was born in Monrovia, Liberia and moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota at the age of four. From a very young age, Paygar was athletic and good at several sports, he soon developed an interest in basketball and wrestling before early on in high school, deciding to focus on playing soccer and playing at the college level. He is known for his ability to shoot & score from set pieces & was given the nickname "sniper" by his former teammates.
Club career
He played soccer briefly for University of Northwestern - St. Paul, and then transferred to Upper Iowa University in 2013, where he played soccer at the NCAA Division-2 level. He went on after college to play for Dakota Fusion FC, a nationally ranked NPSL team in the 2017 NPSL. In 2018 Paygar was picked up by the USL Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC U23 team.
In 2019, Paygar was invited on trial with top Lithuanian club & the current Champions of the 2nd division in Lithuania, FC Džiugas Telšiai.
