Andrew Giallombardo (born February 15, 1989 currently plays for the Dayton Dutch Lions in the USL Premier Development League. Early life and soccer history Andrew Giallombardo was born in in Manhattan, New York and raised in Brooklyn. As a youth, he expressed an interest in playing soccer and was the US under-17 captain. In 2007, Giallombardo received international clearance to play against Manchester United under-18 in a Youth Cup fourth round tie for the Southampton F.C. Saints. In 2008, it was thought he would be released from this club. Career Giallombardo has played for the United States U-20 National Team and Southampton FC. He is currently a defending midfielder for the Dayton Dutch Lions. He is represented by MK Sports & Entertainment Group. |
