GameVox is proprietary Group Voice Communication software that includes text chat and instant messaging between users much like Skype. The GameVox client is free to download (freeware) for the Windows and Macintosh OSX operating system - with Linux listed as Coming Soon. To talk to your friends through voice you will need either a free Basic 6 user GameVox Server or a Paid GameVox Premium Server . Premium servers can maintain up to 200 people and have additional features. GameVox has sponsored groups such as Feed The Beast GameVox is similar to Mumble Usage GameVox is primarily used by gamers who use the software to communicate with other players on the same team of a multiplayer game, or for general chat. Voice Quality GameVox voice quality is beyond other voice products featuring the Opus 1.1 Codec. Echo cancellation, noise reduction and automatic gain control are all featured.
