Gaetano Giuseppe Vinci (born July 5, 1996) is an Italian lawyer. Biography Born in Policoro (Province of Matera, Italy), Gaetano Giuseppe Vinci graduated from a classical high school and earned his law degree at the University of Bari. After completing his internship, he joined the Bar Association of Matera at the age of 27. Career In the "Marijuana Express" operation, Vinci's client, who was accused of the production, trafficking, and possession of illegal narcotics or psychotropic substances, was acquitted. The case gained media attention in Italy because the Guardia di Finanza officers "disguised" themselves as couriers to deliver what appeared to be a conventional package, sent from Spain, which actually contained 600 grams of cannabis. |
