Gabriel abdel nour

Gabriel Abdel Nour is a Lebanese Tenor, who studied Opera and Oriental singing technique with International Lebanese, American, and French Singers.
Studies
Gabriel has an M.A in Psychology from the Holy Spirit University, Lebanon. He has graduated with honors.
Musical Background
As a young child, Gabriel had tendencies towards music and singing. His potential, greeted and recognized by his entourage, led him in the beginning to follow courses of piano and musical theory, to work on and develop his singing talent with professional American and French Tenors (for 10 years) -and later on- with Masters of the oriental song, taking his sublime and gracious voice to another level.
Gabriel Abdel Nour is a Lyric Tenor. His voice is clear and ranges over 3 octaves: from Ré2 until Fa5, exceeding the expectations one would normally have.
During 1999 to 2002 Gabriel has performed in many official concerts singing internationally renowned songs from some of the legends of international contemporary music (Edith Piaf, Dalida, Charles Aznavour, Tino Rossi, Léo Ferré, Gilbert Bécault, Yves Montand, Serge Lama…)
He also performed many songs of well-known arabic legends like Asmahan, Magida Roumi, Zaki Nassif

In 2005 Gabriel launched his first album, singing 7 original songs written by the virtuoso Lebanese poet Gibran Khalil Gibran. In 2007, the shooting of "Lakom Loubnanoukom wa li loubnani" Videoclip took place at Gibran Museum, Bcharre.

In 2007 and 2008, he participated in the Marathons of Lebanon and released two new songs, and in the celebration of the 125 jubilee of Gibran in Lebanon and abroad.

He also participated in the Memorial of the late general François El Hajj and dedicated two songs.

He sang in 9 different languages, and has earned several high awards.

He presents currently a weekly musical show on HEYA TV, and had several appearances on Arabic and world channels as CNN, Al Arabiya, Rotana, ANB etc...

With comprehensive commitment, Gabriel has endeavored himself to the world of music, earning the high esteem and appraisal of respected individuals in and out of the artistic world (over 500 articles that appeared in Arabic and Lebanese press)
Gabriel Abdel Nour sings Gibran Khalil Gibran (2005)
Gabriel Abdel Nour dedicated a complete album to the famous Lebanese philosopher Gibran Khalil Gibran. He is the only singer who dedicated a complete album to Gibran. The album has been released in 2005, and contains 7 songs, extracted from Gibran Khalil Gibran's works:
1- Salamon Ayatouha Al Hayat (Peace upon you, O Life)
2- Iqtaribi minni (Come closer to me)
3- Daani ya La'imi (Leave me blamer)
4- Ayna anti (Where are you)
5- Lakoom Loubnanoukom (You have your Lebanon)
6- Bel Amsi wa Lyaoum (Yesterday and today)
7- Nahnou wa antom (We and you)
Coming Album
Currently, Gabriel is working on a new album that is planned to be released in 2010. It has 9 songs, all written by the Lebanese poet Nada Abdel Nour, composed by Gabriel himself, and arranged by Abdo Mounzer.
