Frantic amber is a Swedish all-girls Melodic death metal band formed in 2008 by guitarist Mary Mayhem. Frantic Amber has undergone a series of line-up changes. Now this band consists of guitarist mary and Drummer Emlee from Sweden, frontwoman Elizabeth Andrews on vocal from Denmark, bass player Sandra from Norway and Japanese guitarist Mio. Frantic Amber delivers "heavy and low-tune kick-ass metal with female growls and clean vocals." Early years Guitarist Mary founded Frantic Amber in 2008 with the idea to have a band that could deliver more attitude and brutal force than what is normally seen in all-girls-band. The band therefor started a quest to find a true female metal singer for Frantic Amber. In 2009 Frantic Amber finally found the vocalist they were looking for in Elizabeth Andrews from Denmark. Mary wrote Mio an email, because she was in another band at that time. She asked Mio if she would like to do an audition and Mio said yes. Frantic Amber produces the idea to have a band no one has ever seen before and create music with passion! Wrath of Judgment Frantic Amber is influenced by bands like Dark Tranquillity, Hypocrisy, Arch Enemy , Metallica, Strapping Young Lad and Killswitch Engage. Their first video 'Wrath Of Judgement' made it to the Swedish site Blabbermouth and also got published in German website of Metal Hammer magazine . In a short period of time, Frantic Amber have risen from the underground of unknowns to be courted by smaller record labels and have created a steadily rising fanbase. The work of their first demo Wrath of Judgement is under construction and it will have five songs. Their demo is recorded in the rehearsal studio and mixing and mastering has been done by Sneaky Weasel Productions.
