FranklyMe was a video sharing service and social media networking service to communicate experiences, stories and information through velfies but it flopped. This social media networking website allowed its users to ask questions of their choice and get responses in the form of video selfies Users could create vlogs,celebrities, politicians, authors, sportsmen, fashionistas, and music lovers could use this platform to communicate democratically, fearlessly, in a fun filled creative manner with citizens, fans and lovers without the hassle of a long monotonous text. The maximum duration of a video was 90 seconds.
Founded by Nikunj Jain and Abhishek Gupta, two IITians, FranklyMe was supposed to be the revolution from text to video chatting; more direct, more personal. It was based in Noida, India. Frankly.me was distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Frankly.me stopped its operations and was shut down on February 15, 2016 due to heavy operation losses and no trust left from the investors..
