Wee Web is headquartered in New York City and was founded in 2008 by CEO Matt Meeker and CTO Peter Kamali, who previously co-founded Meetup.com. Early investors include Scott Heiferman, Joshua Stylman and Peter Hershberg of Reprise Media, and Esther Dyson.
Features
Wee Web is a platform for families to privately communicate and share photos and video with each other. To use the site, parents set up pages for their kids and invite family members and close friends to join their network. Invited family members can view pictures and videos, read stories, and comment on the children's pages.
The site includes simple Twitter-like functionality, allowing members to share 140-character posts.
