Forgotten hope

(This page is under construction) Forgotten Hope 1 is a realism mod for FPS computer game Battlefield 1942. Forgotten Hope 1 has several versions since its release in 2003 and was one of the most popular mods for Battlefield 1942. It has been moved to Battlefield 2's engine at the present time which it is called Forgotten Hope 2. Forgotten Hope 2's release was in 2005 and it is still adding new things. Development The development of Forgotten Hope 1 began quickly after the release of Battlefield 1942, by 2003 the first version had of Forgotten Hope 1 had been released. The last version for it is 0.7. The whole mod has over 250 authentic pieces of equipment (more than any other FPS). Most maps have "pickup" kits" such as a pilot kit which includes a parachute, deployable heavy machine gun which you could put anywhere on a map, and scoped rifles which most are in high places (scoped rifls are not in the startup screen). The development moved to Battlefield 2's engine which Forgotten Hope 2 would adopt new things from the game, like being able to sprint, fighting enemies with iron sights, improved all animations to feel like your in World War 2. Features Forgotten Hope 1 is set during the Second World War on multiple theatres and continents. Game maps or battles are based are real conflicts fought around the Western Front, Eastern Europe, Italian Campaign, Northern Africa, and Pacific To accompany the great selection of maps it includes a playable armies listed below.
