First Love Illustrated is a comic book series published by Harvey Comics between February 1949 and February 1963. Following the imposition of the Comics Code in the early 1950s, Harvey dropped some of their adult titles and concentrated on various children's series such as Richie Rich and Caspar the Friendly Ghost. The company did however continue to publish their five romance titles First Love Illustrated, First Romance Illustrated, Hi-School Romance, True Love Problems and Advice, and True Brides' Experiences. First Love launched the Harvey romance lines and saw 88 issues published through 1958 and an additional two issues in 1962-63.
