Fiona Clayton is a British musician who is the lead singer for the Alston folk rock band "Room Full of Owls". Clayton was introduced to the British public nationwide when featured on the BBC Introducing show in June 2010. Brought up in the Pennine foothills and nurtured by musical parents, this Cumbrian singer-songwriter developed her eclectic style and love of imaginatively surreal themes. She honed her live performance skills in Appleby's "Centre 67" youth club. 14 May 2011 marks the debut performance of songs from her forthcoming album (described as "electro-synth-folk music") live on British National BBC Radio 1's "Introducing Stage" with backing support from bassist Jan Cardy, percussionist John Lambeth and her producer Jez Thomas.
