Fereidoun Ghasemzadeh

Dr. Fereidoun Ghasemzadeh () is an assistant Professor in the Management and Economics School at Sharif University of Technology. He is the founder and currently the CEO of Afranet, a leading Internet and E-Commerce company in Iran.
He received his B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University, and his Ph.D. in Management Science and Information Systems from DeGroote School of Business of McMaster University in Canada and then continued his research in a Postdoctoral capacity at McMaster.
Dr. Ghasemzadeh has published more than 10 academic papers in refereed journals and international conference proceedings, primarily on project portfolio selection, decision support systems and electronic commerce. His papers in the field of Project Portfolio Selection have received extensive attention and now serve as reference papers in this domain.
He has about 100 articles in the media and has held dozens of conferences and seminars in those areas in Iran and abroad. He was also selected as the Instructor of the Year at Sharif University of Technology, School of Management and Economics in the year 2002.
