Facebook Search is a Facebook-specific search engine, built upon combination of Google custom search and Facebook's publicly available API. It allows one to make keyword search among all kinds of data which is indexed by Google on Facebook and search for public Facebook updates using Facebook's own search service, for example: messages, profiles of people, groups, pages, applications etc.
Facebook search feature of the website started to work actively since july 2010 and has received nearly 1 million page views in its first month on-line. There are some sites which are relative to Facebook Search and use only Facebook's publicly available Api for searching specific texts on the walls of Facebook subscribers.
