Evariste Rugigana

As a Director of Cabinet, he also serves as the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Rwanda. Previously, Evariste was the Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister of Rwanda from 2013- 2018.
He holds a master's degree in Economics from the National Institute for Policy Studies, Tokyo, Japan.<https://twitter.com/GRIPS_Japan/status/989790619382890499> </ref> He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Maastricht School of Management and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Makerere University, Uganda in 2006.
Drawing on more than 10 years of public service in Rwanda, Evariste has developed close relationships with a wide range of leading governmental and Policy Makers in Rwanda and beyond. He is widely recognized as one of the leading Policy experts in Rwanda and Africa. Previously as a frequent guest lecturer, Evariste has contributed to building capacities in policy design and implementation in Africa.
