Evan Andriopoulos

Evan Andriopoulos is an ice hockey player.
Early life and career
Andriopoulos played youth hockey in the Southeastern Connecticut Youth Hockey League and in summer leagues in Rhode Island (Mt. St. Charles and N. Smithfield) and South Windsor, Connecticut.
Professional career
After playing in the start up SuHL, a semi-pro league in Florida and with the travel team Hollywood Wheels made up of players from across North America he played on two Norwegian teams from 1991 through 2004 winning the national league championship in 2003. In 2003 AIK became the first team from outside of Sweden to win the prestigious Linkoping Tournament. He retired as an active player after the 2004 season. He attempted a comeback in 2006 but retired due to injuries.
Andriopoulos a physical, shot blocking, stay-at-home defenseman captained two teams. He led the Norwegian League with penalty minutes twice (1999-00 and 2000-01) and was an All Star in 1992, 1994, 1995 and 2003.
