Congressional Campaign
On April 10, 2014, Beltran launched his candidacy for Congress in Washington's 4th congressional district. The seat will be open due to the announced retirement of Representative Doc Hastings (R-WA). Beltran is one of 12 people running for the seat.
Beltran has already been endorsed by multiple groups including the 4th Congressional District Democrats, the Yakima Democrats, and the Young Democrats of Washington.
Beltran believes in holding politicians accountable. He has expressed his intent on introducing a "No Work-No Pay Act," which would withhold salaries from lawmakers who shut down the government.
