Eric Dysart

Eric DySart (born in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American actor.
Eric DySart completed his post graduate training in Shakespeare / Acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in 2012, in London. Prior to RADA, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre and a minor in dance.
On television, DySart played Alan Garkel, a recurring guest role as a lawyer at GE, on 30 Rock Other television credits include, Law & Order, as Sybil.
In film, he played Jerome in In The Night, Cabbie in Fades with Age and Bubble in Sad Sack Sally.
He performed at Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in The Tempest as Caliban (directed by Nona Sheppard), Troilus and Cressida as Troilus and Twelfth Night as Malvolio. Additional roles include Moonchildren (Dick) CATCO, Off-Broadway: Two Gentlemen of Verona (Proteus), Twelfth Night (FESTE).
DySart was an original cast member in the Broadway musical Hairspray originating the role of Gilbert. He later joined the Broadway revival cast of A Chorus Line, at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. At the Paper Mill Playhouse, his dancing of the "underwritten" Ritchie "stop the show".
