Liz Carney is an English actress of television, stage and radio. Carney was born in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire in England and studied at Accrington and Rossendale College and Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, London. She has predominantly appeared in theatrical productions including stage work for Hull Truck Theatre and in London's West End working alongside Juliet Stevenson and Kate O'Mara in We Happy Few directed by Sir Trevor Nunn. Liz also appeared in the longest running play in the world, The Mousetrap at St. Martins Theatre. In 2010 Liz played Florence Whitworth in The Game at the Liverpool Playhouse. Carney has also appeared in the children's television programme Grange Hill, Emmerdale and in ITV1's The Royal in 2009.
