Eric Cormier

Eric Cormier (born July 2, 1969) is a Swiss businessman, socialite and art patron. He is notably specialized in commodity investment funds and also hosts art exhibitions and charity events in Geneva.
Business career
Eric Cormier graduated from Paris Dauphine University with a major in Economy in 1993, before specializing in helping European companies getting implemented in emerging economies, notably in the oil sector.
He is currently active in intermediation and international lobbying on brokerage contracts for raw materials, minerals, fuels and food, notably in the Persian Gulf and South America.
Art sponsorship and socialite life
Eric Cormier is an important sponsor and patron for contemporary art in Geneva through his foundation Art Vision as well as the association Les artistes et la route des arts which he created with Pierre Cardin.
He notably has had realized public sculptures of:
*Rainier III, Prince of Monaco’s piece exhibited in 2006
*Albert II, Prince of Monaco’s piece exhibited in 2009
Eric Cormier appears in French media as a socialite, close to many international stars such as Albert II, Prince of Monaco, Adriana Karembeu or Alain Delon.
