Emma Tringali is a singer-songwriter from Brewster, New York. Emma and her band, The Walk Ins, have garnered a significant amount of attention in the New York folk-music scene due to the popular venues they have played, including Arlene's Grocery, The Stain, Kenny's Castaways, The Bitter End and Purchase College's The Stood. The band has also played at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC. Emma Tringali also received a positive review from Lucid Culture. Lucid Culture said "singer/songwriter - distinctive voice, decent tunes, not a wimp - like Linda Draper w/o the Ph. D." Music There have been many songs recorded and released from early 2006 on, Including a 12 song gathering of her earlier songs. Emma Tringali recorded with Chris Eminizer, in his studios. (Patterson, NY.) and SUNY Purchase with Callum Plews (Purchase, NY) There has been no official release, just a sharing of music on compact discs. One of the tracks on the Compilation is titled "lonely, lonely" which is written by percussionist Ryan Tuttle. Record label signing In December 2008, Kevin Lange signed Emma Tringali and The Walk Ins to Aux Sable Records.
