Elliot Knight

Elliot Knight (born 8th September 1991) is a footballer currently signed to Swindon Town Football Club in Swindon, Wiltshire. He has recently won a Youth Team Scholarship (YTS) to the club and this commences in July 2008. Because of this he has not yet played a professional match. Personal Life Elliot was born in the village of Chiseldon, near Swindon, to Kevin and Tracy Knight. He went to Primary School in the village (being picked for the school football team in Year 3) and is currently in Year 11 at The Ridgeway School in Wroughton, Swindon. He has been seeing his girlfriend Sarah Godwin since November 2007. Career Elliot started playing football for Swindon Robins in the under-7 team before playing for Lydiard Youth and playing in the under-8 team. He was noticed by Swindon at age 9 and became involved in their youth project. In 2006 he played in the Milk Cup in Northern Ireland, where his Swindon under-16 team won . Elliot was noticed by Chelsea FC at age 13, but due to contract difficulties was unable to continue negotiation until age 16.
