EDGU was founded By Rhys Hunter-Robinson and Jared Cotter in April 2013. EDGU's Mission is to provide its Gamers with a fun, safe and great experience to online Gamers.
EDGU refers to itself as a family, not only helping and watching out for eachother online, but also helping eachother through ruff times. EDGU's Chairman is keen on spreading awareness about Depression and helping those in EDGU through their bad times and building onto their good times. "I am a Gamer, always have been and always will, but people call us geeks who will never accomplish anything in life. People told me to get a life when I was young, that I had no life because I played games. It took me a while to understand, that I don't play games because I don't have a life, its because I have many lives, I play games".

EDGU is referred to as a clan, but operates very differently. The Chairman provides direction and guidence, but there must be a unanimous vote between all members.

EDGU Divisions and Fireteam
EDGU Currently has two Divisions (1st Division and 2nd Division). EDGU Divisions are lead by one Division Captain. In a single Division there are two Fireteams, each consisting of 5 Members.
Fireteams are Lead by a Fireteam Leader. The fireteam leader is in charge of their respective team and leads the other 4 gamers who may be a Recruit-Commando. In Short a DIvision consists of 11 members:
