Edway Group is a labour hiring, training and staffing group that serves most of Australia and its industries with facilities located in Sydney, Parramatta, Liverpool, Melbourne and Dandenong. Its an entity where prospective employees of various industries (construction, hospitality, gambling, safety, health care, alcohol, etc.) can train and obtain their licenses and certifications. As it pertains to staffing, the group assists companies and employment seekers by providing job placement from a selection of over one hundred thousand highly qualified applicants who have completed certification courses and have obtained their licenses, white cards, etc. Background Edway Group Ltd., the main company, headquartered in Sydney, Australia, owns Edway Training Pty. Ltd., which is the training branch. It also owns part of Edway Media Pty. Ltd. (founded on 22 October 2010), the technology arm of the group and the sector that creates apps and other things of that nature. Edway Group Ltd. apart from being a holding company is still at the core, a Labour Hire organisation with over 100 people on worksites at any given time. Also in 2010, the Edway Group ranked Top 100 in the 100 Fastest Growing Start-up Companies. History Edway Group Pty. Ltd. was founded by Sergei Sergienko, Stanislav Kyselov, Bakhtiyor Khasanov and Yaroslav Cherey, on 13 February 2007, and it began as a Labour Hire company. Bakhtiyor Khasanov was bought out in February 2008 and the company soon after commenced on the road to expansion. The group acquired Smart OHS Pty. Ltd. (distribution relationship with 3 of the top Australian Worker's Compensation Insurers) from Chris Beasley on 13 February 2008. Smart OHS was a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with a license to train in courses such as: Work safety in the construction industry, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG in NSW and RSG in Victoria), Senior First Aid, and practices for Food Safety Hygiene. Smart OHS was later renamed Edway Training Pty. Ltd. to keep in line with branding. One cannot work in any of the aforementioned industries without those certifications, cards, or licenses. On 11 April 2013, the group went public and changed their name to Edway Group Ltd. The current Board members of Edway Group Ltd. are Sergei Sergienko, Yaroslav Cherey, and Philip Gillespie.
