Dwight Turner

Dwight Turner is an American actor who was born in Hazard, Kentucky. From a young age, he was fascinated with acting and appeared in local theatre productions throughout his childhood. Dwight continued to hone his craft at Morehead State University where he earned a BA in Communications with a Radio-TV Emphasis. 
 
Dwight joined the Screen Actors Guild in 1992 after winning the role of the Young Dad in a Black Star Beer commercial - his first professional audition! More work followed in Film, Television, Commercials, and Los Angeles Theatre.  Dwight also voiced the Green Lantern character for the Six Flags show,  DC Comics Super Heroes Live.
 
Dwight took a brief hiatus from acting when he became an Online Producer for Warner Bros. Studio. In 2007, Dwight was asked to play a doctor in a TV Pilot Rx and juggled acting assignments while continuing his work as an Online Producer. Following the pilot, Dwight performed with the America Ballet Theatre and The Los Angeles Opera Company at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles.  Dwight resumed his full-time acting career in January, 2009. He recently played Theopolies in the feature film "The Deported" in which he is featured with Nick Turturro, Talia Shire and Katherine Narducci. He also appeared in The Ghost Whisperer later that same year. Dwight recently completed advanced acting courses with Deborah Aquila, Donna Morong and Holly Powell.
